Day 1: Welcome to the Biodiversity Capital and Caiman Lagoon
Your adventure on the Eco Amazonía 2-Day Tour begins with a reception at the Puerto Maldonado airport. After a short city tour to get to know the local surroundings, we will transfer to the port to board a motorized boat. We will navigate the mighty Madre de Dios River, where you can spot caimans, turtles, and herons along the banks.
Upon arrival at the EcoAmazonía Lodge, you will be welcomed with a refreshing tropical fruit nectar. After settling into your private bungalow, we will enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll begin a guided exploration to Caiman Lagoon (Cocha Caimán), a small lagoon inhabited by black and white caimans. The day concludes with dinner under the starry jungle sky and a restful night surrounded by nature.
Day 2: Amazonian Sunrise and Farewell to the Jungle
The second day of the Eco Amazonía 2-Day Tour begins early with the singing of the birds. You will enjoy an energetic breakfast prepared with local ingredients before our last morning of immersion. You will have time to capture the final photographs of the Amazonian landscapes before boarding the boat back to Puerto Maldonado.
During the return navigation, we will take the opportunity to observe once more the wildlife that inhabits the riverbanks. Upon arriving in the city, our team will transfer you to the airport or your departure point with enough time for your next destination. You will conclude the Eco Amazonía 2-Day Tour with the satisfaction of having lived an authentic experience in the lungs of the world.
