Day 1: Cusco - ATV Tour - Moray - Salt Mines - Cusco
The tour begins with an early pickup in Cusco. We will take you to the starting point of the route, where you will receive a modern and reliable ATV. There will be a very important safety briefing, followed by an intensive driving practice session. Our guides will oversee your initial training.
The adventure kicks off in the wide-open Andean fields. We will drive along off-the-beaten-path trails; the first part is thrilling and a lot of fun. The first archaeological destination is Moray, where we will explore its unique circular Inca terraces. You will learn about crop acclimation.
Then, we will continue the trail toward colonial Maras to see the thousands of ancestral salt ponds. This is a spectacular white landscape—take some time for the best photos. The experience ends by returning to the starting point, and transportation will take you back to Cusco.
