Rafting on the Vilcanota River is primarily available from April to December. It is an indispensable requirement to know how to swim to participate in this activity.
We suggest acclimating in the city of Cusco for at least 2 days before starting the trek. We reach altitudes of up to 4,350 meters, so constant hydration is vital to avoid altitude sickness.
